Fall Lovin!

So a few weekends ago Joel and I went to a cute little pumpkin patch to do so Hay riddin, Pumpkin pickin, and corn maze walkin. When we got there we realized you had to be 12 or under to enjoy the attractions so we just walked around and took a few pictures instead!
 We walked around the barn,
 played in the corn,
Kissed on the old wagon wheels,
 Jumped for joy,
Realized we take better pictures when the camera is elevated,
And played in the creek under a sweet little bridge. We were bummed it wasn't what we were expecting but all in all we enjoyed the beautiful weather and scenery but most of all a day with each other!

A little candy jar project!

So my friend savannah picked up the cutest candy jar when we were at witches night out a couple weekends ago so I decided to make one of my own!
I found the jar and candle holder at DI for $2.50
Got some red spray paint for $4.00 and went to town on the lid /candle holder
Let them dry and...
Waaaalla  You have a cute little candy jar!
I'm either going to put gumballs or lemon drops in it!

My Wonderful Grandpa Jack!

My Grandpa Jack passed away on Thursday October 13th around 9:15A.M

.
I only had the privilege of meeting one of my grandfathers in this life but the one I knew was everything I could have asked for! I have been reflecting on the things I remember about him and would like to share some of the things that made him WONDERFUL to me and everyone who knew him!
I remember his soft calm voice, his love for the gospel and his stories. I remember the food and games we would always play. I remember his wonderful outlook on life, he always saw the best in his family.
I remember his prayers and how often his eyes got teary. I remember his generosity and diligence. I remember always knowing his door was open and I would be greeted with a big warm hug.
I remember his kind words and jokes. I remember looking forward to his birthday cards every year (he never forgot)
I remember tomato soup with grilled cheese sandwiches after going to his ward. I remember Christmas party's and Easter. I remember our Hawaii and Disneyland trips. I remember so many things about this WONDERFUL MAN but most of all I remember how much he loved me and still does! I know without a shadow of a doubt that I will see him again and be greeted with that same BIG warm hug!

1 OF THE MANY REASONS I LOVE MY HUSBAND

Joel is really into making/editing videos and he got a great idea of making a ring light instead of buying one for hundreds of dollars. This is his first video from that project!

Oh Honeymoon!

The day after we got married Joel and I embarked on our honeymoon to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.
We stayed in a wonderful all inclusive resort where we ATE, swam, ATE,
played games poolside,
ATE, explored the city, ATE, slept, ATE, watched nightly entertainment, ATE, and ATE. Joel and I forgot what it felt like to be hungry the whole week there.
On Christmas day Santa Claus flew in on a para-sail and handed presents out to all the children who were there.
The resort also celebrated couples on their honeymoon with a romantic dinner, Bottle of wine (Which we didn't get the pleasure of enjoying) and t-shirts that said Honeymooners on them (Which I still sleep in). All in all it was a wonderful honeymoon but the best part was that I was enjoying it as Mrs. Andersen!!!
